Today, after a very busy working week, I finally had the opportunity to take some pictures. All within a few meters, in a small village in the province of Bergamo, which is called Ponte Nossa. I had with me my brand new Leica M (Typ 240) and the Voigtländer Nokton 35mm F1.2 Aspherical II, which is one of my favourite lens.
Well, it is still too early to judge this new Leica. Despite the many new features, the M Typ 240 is still a real M: the way you handle it, its controls, the viewfinder with the rangefinder, everything that makes us love the Leica M is still there in its place. The only thing unpleasant is the increase in weight of about 100 grams. In the end, there is nothing that is less than the M9.
Ponte Nossa is a very little town of 1.927 inhabitants, located on the right bank of the river Serio, in Val Seriana, at about 27 km from Bergamo.
